William J. McAvinney III

Founder & CEO

Bill has been serving clients for more than 30 years. He founded the firm in 1982 with a focus on building strong local friendships — a philosophy that still guides everything we do.

Married for over 40 years, Bill and his wife Ginny chose Fredericksburg to raise their daughters and love investing back into the community. In 2019, the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce honored Bill with the Prince B. Woodard Award for character, integrity, extraordinary service, and commitment to the community.

Ann Black

Group Benefits Coordinator

Ann is highly skilled across many aspects of employee benefits. She focuses on proposals, benefit design, and the renewal of group insurance plans, and also handles individual health insurance for our clients.

Outside the office, Ann loves to travel and care for her family — especially the four-legged members.
